Heather is a self-taught photographer based in Oakland, California. Since 2012, she’s been working in both digital and film to explore the beauty and complexity in places that are often overlooked.

Whether she’s biking through Oakland with a camera, peering into a murky tide pool, or setting up her mobile studio for a portrait session, Heather’s work comes from a belief that beauty is everywhere if you’re willing to open your mind and slow down.
