Desert Thunder archival print 5" x 7"

$125.00

In the spring of 2024, I took a road trip with my best friend across the Southwest to watch the total solar eclipse in Texas. We were lucky enough to also get to experience some desert thunderstorms along the way. Driving across several states in just a few days to catch an eclipse which would only last about 4 minutes made me acutely aware that I had to remain grounded in appreciating the whole journey - the sights, sounds, people, friendship, adventure - and not just the destination. I love the incredible richness, strangeness, and diversity of life in the desert. Each plant and animal bears the marks of all the evolutionary adaptations it had to develop to have half a chance of survival in an environment with so little water and nutrients.
